Your mission

Do you have a distinct passion for technology and would like to become an experienced software developer? Our IT traineeship programme is the start of your new development path. We offer you extensive training and mentoring to prepare you for a successful IT career in the Netherlands. After completing our traineeship, we guide you towards a career at one of our partner companies with plenty of growth opportunities. Our alumni have successful careers at renowned companies such as ABN AMRO, Nationale Postcode Loterij, PricewaterhouseCoopers and many others.

Your profile

• A refugee background or new to the Netherlands, with the right to work. English language proficiency at level B2.
• A basic/good understanding of the Dutch language is a plus.
• Experience with or strong affinity with IT.
• Completed education at HBO level (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree) Strong communication skills and customer orientation.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude and eager to learn.
• Flexibility to travel between training locations in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, as our partner offices are situated here.

What we offer

• A transformational full-time traineeship programme of 3 to 6 months (with the possibility of longer training periods) that will immerse you in the world of IT and give you a deep understanding of technology and its applications.
• Practical software development skills: gain invaluable experience in software development through practical, hands-on training that forms the basis of your IT expertise
• Expert guidance and mentoring from seasoned professionals who will support you throughout your IT career path.
• Language training: improve your command of Dutch and English through customised (professional) language training, enabling you to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Introduction to the Dutch work culture by deepening your understanding of workplace dynamics. You participate in a series of workshops focusing on essential soft skills, including presentation techniques, assertiveness, effective communication and collaboration.
